Terms AND CONDITIONS oF ENROLMENT.

Enrolment

Enrolments are not considered firm until one of the following is received;

Full TUITION payment or

a Returned Payment Plan Form 

ENROLMENT IS reserved for 7 days from the date THE ENROLMENT FORM IS RECEIVED by the academy of fashion and styling.

Payment and confirmation 

You may process your course fees by credit card, direct deposit, AFTERPAY or through A Payment Plan.

Final receipt of your course fees will be sent by email upon receipt of course fees.

PAYMENT PLANS

•           Academy of Fashion and Styling offers payment plans to provide students a method of payment of their course fees over a set period of time. You understand that by enrolling in your selected course that payment is to be made in its entirety over the outlined number of payments.

•           Payment Plans are outlined in the Course Guide and are set out at the weekly amount for a set amount of weekly debits.

•           Payments are debited weekly on the same day as your date of enrolment (this date can be changed once to a date that is best suited to your finances).

•           You agree to having the funds available on the designated day, so that payment can be successfully processed. If you fail to make a payment on the designated day, the first time you will receive a reminder to make payment available for AFS to attempt to process again. Funds must be made available within 48 hours for this retry. After this first attempt, a late fee of $30 per day will be incurred if communication has not been made with the Academy of Fashion and Styling on info@academyoffashionandstyling.com (you will require an email response for this email to be valid).

•           Payments more than 14 days overdue (without contact to the Academy of Fashion and Styling for possible alternative arrangements) forfeit the payment schedule. AFS will be entitled to balance of payment in full at this time.

•           Failed payments may be escalated to AFS’s legal representative or a collections agency, where any expenses incurred will be required to be paid by you.

•           You cannot withdraw or cancel your course once you are enrolled. Should you wish to discontinue your studies, payment will still be required within the timeframe outlined in your enrolment terms and conditions. AFS will not refund your course fees if you change your mind and you will be required to pay your course fees within the agreed timeframe on your enrolment (this includes a medical certificate). It is up to AFS to determine whether they provide a payment or study extension in this case).

•           If another person, parent or guardian is nominated to pay for your course fees and for any reason they decide to discontinue payment, please note that payment will still be required by you.

Fees include

Fees cover the admissions process, tuition, qualified trainers, access to the online learning portal, Course resources and a certificate issued by the Academy of Fashion and Styling and its Partnering Registered Training Organisation (if applicable).

Cancellations & Transfers

Should you be unable to attend a course for which you have registered or enrolled, please let us know as soon as possible. 

Cancellation must be in writing and sent to info@academyoffashionandstyling.com

ONLINE AND IN PERSON WORKSHOPS

For all online and in person CLASSES, workshops and masterclasses, training places are only transferable once and are valid for a six (6) month period from the date of enrolment. Please note* we do not accept cancellations due to a change of mind or circumstances. 

Due to the costs incurred by AFS, administration and enrolment, trainer fees and learning resource expenses, we do not refund course deposits or COURSE fees. by enrolling and paying your fees, your place is confirmed. 

Substitutes are accepted in masterclasses and workshops, provided notice is given no later than 48 hours prior to the masterclass or workshop.  Please note that if you do not give correct notice as above and don’t attend, you are still responsible for full payment.

AFS has the right to cancel a course or alter the dates and venue up to 48 hours prior to its scheduled start.  If a course is cancelled, we will make every attempt to notify participants already booked on the course.  Participants may choose a full refund or transfer to the same course on another date.  Regardless of the reason for course cancellation, cancellation of accommodation and travel reservations, as well as any associated expenses, is the participants responsibility and no claims for compensation can be accepted other than the refund of the course fee.

COURSE EXTENSION

All Certificate courses offer a duration of 1 year of access, while Advanced courses provide 2 years of access. If you would like to extend your course access, there is a fee of AUD $250, which grants you an additional year of access.
