COURSE OVERVIEW
The demands of a stylist have evolved! Stylists can be involved in nearly every visual element in design. A Stylist's skill set has expanded to working closely with designers, photographers, videographers, producers, directors and retailers to ensure the vision of the brand is executed to the brief created by the creative team.
Stylists work for individuals, fashion houses and clothing brands and their main responsibilities include providing fashion advice; choosing and co-ordinating outfits for models in photo shoots or actors in television and film; and choosing props and accessories and preparing them for shoots.
DURATION: On average students complete this course within 30 weeks.

*Students will be required to source and consult with clients to complete a series of personal makeover consultations using the skills, knowledge and documentation learnt throughout the course.
Your final Advanced projects will include restructuring a store layout and aesthetic for the topic Visual Merchandising, sourcing suitable styling options for high profile and celebrity clients, planning and conducting two photoshoots for commercial and e-commerce, which will be used to start your professional portfolio.

HOW IT WORKS
As a 100% ONLINE or DISTANCE student, you will have full access to our Online Learning Centre, which contains course material created by industry experts. These include: videos, written content, activities and assignments. Support is available throughout the duration of the course: phone, email or by zoom. HOW REMOTE ONLINE LEARNING WORK? Once you've enrolled, students receive access to a library of weekly instructional videos. All learning content is beautifully curated in magazine style topic PDF files which are filed topic by topic and week by week. All activities, tasks, projects and so on are completed or submitted in the portal. Simply upload a document and hit submit. In addition to the user friendly online platform you can contact any of our mentors/trainers 24/7 if you have a question or are interested in booking in for a support session over the phone or via zoom. What about practical tasks and learning? Throughout the year, our students are given opportunities to get hands on experience working with labels, brands, on photoshoots, or on events such as; Miss Universe, Eurovision or with Celebrity Stylists for the TV Week Logies. This is in addition to the practical tasks and projects that students complete during the course, meaning ACA students graduate work ready with a CV that shows experience!
